
Reza Zonozi, M.D.
Dr. Reza Zonozi attended medical school at Georgetown University, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated first in his class. He completed his residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he was awarded the Norman Anderson, M.D. Memorial Award, the recognition of the Osler medical resident who has demonstrated outstanding, compassionate care in the ambulatory setting, as voted by faculty and nursing. He completed his nephrology fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Following his training, Dr. Zonozi was an attending nephrologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and was promoted to Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He subsequently joined NANV in 2023. Dr. Zonozi’s primary clinical and research interest is improving the care of patients with vasculitis and glomerular diseases. He was awarded the Young Investigator Award at the 2022 International Vasculitis and ANCA Workshop, which recognizes the best young clinical investigator in small vessel vasculitis. Dr. Zonozi’s research has been published in several journals including Arthritis and Rheumatology, American Journal of Kidney Diseases, and Kidney International Reports. He enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends.
